Anger Management. We all know what anger is, and we've all felt it. Sometimes it's "stuffed anger" and other times it's a full-fledged rage. While anger is a completely normal, healthy, human emotion it can sometimes get out of control and turn destructive. It can lead to problems at work, in your personal relationships, and in the overall quality of your life. Our speaker will help you increase your understanding and awareness of anger. You'll recognize your personal anger response and its effectiveness. You'll also learn strategies of dealing with your anger and healthy responses and maintenance.
Anxiety and Depression Management. Depression can take many forms, from chronic/recurrent, to postpartum, to acute depressions often triggered by a loss, to a case of "feeling down." Our speaker will help you understand the interpersonal sources of chronic depression. You'll learn the interpersonal processes (stress generation, negative feedback-seeking, interpersonal conflict avoidance, and blame maintenance, among others) that lead to the maintenance of depression. You'll also learn how depression is managed medically and non-medically.
